National Accounting Day is on May 19th each year and is celebrated with the live Accounting Day event in May and October each year. Depending on the calendar and venue availability each year it may be celebrated in conjunction with and on International Accounting Day, November 10.  Review other pages on this site for more detail.

In doing Internet searches you will find many different dates for National Accounting Day. This came about as the live Accounting Day event tended to be on the 2nd or 3rd Monday of May. This was primarily due venue availability in that they tended be booked well in advance and usually for days later in the week.  The more Internet attention that was directed towards Accounting Day, more different dates were attached to “National Accounting Day”. Since the live event was getting so much attention, we officially declared May 19th as National Accounting Day.

While May 19th is National Accounting Day, it is celebrated in May and October each year with the May event not necessarily falling on the 19th.

International Accounting Day is November 10 each year.
